This Bohemian inspired shoot was put together by La Galleria Events and Ellicottville Events. Buffalo, NY tends to be behind the times when it comes to music, style, and fashion. We wanted to create a local vision for couples to show them new possibilities for weddings and that it is ok to do something new and fun. La Galleria Events was known as a typical banquet hall that was just a run of the mill space for a wedding or event. A few years ago, they decided they wanted to be more than just a regular banquet facility. They put a lot of work and effort into creating a venue that could be multifunctional. They wanted to create space that no other venue had for a ceremony and then be able to transition right into reception without going anywhere.
La Galleria is known for its big doors in their yard as a perfect backdrop for photos, ceremony, etc. With the help of Ellicottville Events vision, they decided to do something else that has never been done before.
The Bohemian trend is something that has been upcoming and Ellicottville Events and La Galleria decided they need to create something beautiful to inspire other couples who enjoyed this style to do something different.
La Galleria had a custom teepee built for their property, which now remains a permanent structure. They have a wooded area that can be used for backdrops for the ceremony as well as pictures.
Ellicottville Events was created in 2016 and was brought in for assistance with planning and design this shoot. Ellicottville Events offers Full Wedding and Event Planning in Western New York with a focus on Wedding Day Management Services. Sam the owner has taken this business for 0-60 in less than two years and loves when her brides like to set the trend! She is open to doing new and creative things and will take on any challenge!
We chose Blue Violet because of their outside of the box creativity. We loved the triangle wooden arbor and the gorgeous touch of the florals that were perfectly placed. Blue Violet also provided the lounge area for the bride and groom as well as the rentals for the table set up, the centerpiece and the bridal bouquet.
Graphic Poetry was our stationery company that really helped tie everything together with her gorgeous invitation suite and menu card. Graphic Poetry also created our dream catcher inspired seating chart.
B in a Bonnet is a hidden gem for the Buffalo area. She brought in the hair accessories and foot jewelry as well as the welcome sign and table number. Her attention to detail is out of this world.
Cupcaked is a bakery nestled in Ellicottville, NY. Annie the owner took our vision and turned it into a true work of art. Can you not even with those figs and caramel drip? The matching mini cakes were a perfect finishing touch.
Aurum Jewelry provided the vintage jewelry for our shoot. Our favorite, the vintage pocket watch! A great accessory to add on. The pieces included a gorgeous opal ring, necklace, and earrings.
Make-up was done by local makeup artist Brianna Ronan. Brianna is located right in Orchard Park but travels all over for wedding services.
Salon Elizabeth was our hair guru. Lizzy has been in the industry since 1999 and has become a local icon for beauty in the area! Lizzy has the most adorable salon in Elma and is a great backdrop to any brides getting ready pics. Lizzy styled both our Bride and our Groom. The groom had a great braid up man bun that was perfect for the shoot.
Not only did Bridal Chateau provide our stunning dress by Colby John for our shoot, but Beth Clark the owner was our jaw-dropping model! She was a perfect fit for the dress and the style we were looking to achieve. The dress has stunning beadwork and lace but nothing that was too over the top.
